Underground Asger Juel Larsens
Asger Juel Larsens FW 11-12 London Fashion Week

Asger Juel Larsens “ Uncle Sam “ collection was a stylish tale taking inspiration from the playful, powerful and deceptive in the American dream. The modern taste fused with Gothic , mechanical and industrial influences is a landscape that Asger inhabits so well and also one to which Underground is no stranger . The resultant collaboration brought an inevitable heavier print to the runway.

Underground Charlie Le Mindu
Charlie Le Mindu X Underground

Charlie le Mindu’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection was a staggering mix of the erotic, the grotesque and the glamorous; a cataclysm of white lace, velvet and trailing lengths of horse hair.

The collection saw an array of head dresses such as a giant white eagle and gas masks swathed in translucent plastic and lace. This collaboration sees the Underground creeper given a typical Charlie Le Mindu treatment with a cream lace apron and a crepe sole.

The show screamed out Gaultier, with it’s beautiful classic tailored suits disrupted by British Punk inspirations (bondage straps, Clash soundtrack)

The Underground winklepickers worked perfectly with the collection, enhancing the sharp tailoring and referring to the rebellious attitude of the Mods.

Fashion Design Womenswear Graduate Show
May 2008 London

The Inspiration for this collection came from the Tom Waits character in the 1986 Jim Jarmusch Film Down by Law.

His cool carefree rock ‘n’ roll attitude is what I wanted to capture in my shoes. I came to work with Underground as I knew them as the genuine Rock ‘n’ Roll shoe brand Being strongly involved with music subcultures, they would be able to translate my ideas properly.

A.Finney.

After the success of the shoes post shoes, these shoes are being sold
as Limited Edition.
