CAMDEN ROCKS 2018

Yesterday, Camden Rocks announced it’s final line-up for this year’s North London rock festival, and to tie up with that we are offering two tickets and a £100 voucher to spend instore. You can enter into this exciting competition by heading to our INSTAGRAM or FACEBOOK posts now.

Camden Rocks is an iconic name in the history of the town’s subcultural and music-driven history, and this year’s line-up is an impressive bill of 200 bands playing across more the 20 different venues. Each band has been carefully handpicked and curated across the day- and the jam-packed schedule has been constructed in a way that offers something for every taste. We couldn’t contain our excitement when we saw that Post Punk heroes Public Image LTD will be taking the stage of the Electric Ballroom at 9pm- though you’ll have to make the tough decision on whether you see PiL or Maxïmo Park who play at the same time down the road at Koko. Before them, bands like Mallory Knox and Twin Atlantic take the Koko stage, whilst Brighton favourites Blood Red Shoes and Post-Pistols The Professionals build up to PiL at the Electric Ballroom. Heavy haven Underworld will see bands like SikTh and INME catering to the metal-lovers; Dingwalls hosts the likes of British Sea Power and Urban Voodoo Machine. Special Soundwave shoutouts to our favourite band from the South Coast, Kid Kapichi who play at 1pm, False Heads at Belushi’s and Arable Desert who take the midday stage at The Lyttleton Arms. Whatever you’re into, check the full list of stagetimes above and see for yourselves.

This year, the all-dayer will be especially highlighting the 80th anniversary of legendary venue the Electric Ballroom- which in the spirit of our pursuit to preserve the UK’s venues, and similarly being an independant British brand ourselves, we’re very pleased to be part of the celebrations. It’s up to music fans everywhere like ourselves to support and champion the family-run businesses that are keeping live music alive in 2018. Festivals like these are vital in encouraging bands to do what they love, and for keeping the streets of London alive with a carnivalesque spirit.

So, enter the competition before Sunday at midnight. But it’s worth mentioning that you’ll have guaranteed access to all of the above for only£39.50 (subject to booking fee).

So, what are you waiting for?
